This licence is offered by Provenance Data Research LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, United States.

What is licensed

The licence covers the platform’s selection, arrangement, normalisation, versioning, and the supplied licensed fields for the ordered product and release. It does not transfer ownership of third-party source websites, documents, trademarks, or copyrighted expression. Public availability of a source does not itself establish permission for commercial republication.

Third-party material

Third-party geography, open data, source links, names, marks, and other separately identified material are excluded from the platform’s proprietary licence grant and remain subject to their own notices and licences. A restriction in this Data License does not replace or narrow a third party’s mandatory licence terms. Included third-party material, required attribution, applicable licence links, and modifications are identified in the third-party data notices.

Public layer

Top 10 country and company aggregates and ten fixed facility samples may be viewed through the website. Automated bulk extraction, protected-corpus reconstruction, systematic copying, and circumvention of controls are not permitted.

Paid web access

Paid web access is a limited, named-user right for the purchasing legal entity’s internal professional research, analysis, and business planning during an active entitlement. It is not a bulk-export right, a data-feed licence, a team licence, or permission to share record-level data externally.

Complete CSV

A CSV order grants the same limited internal-use right for the named immutable release, together with the supplied checksum and data dictionary. That right is perpetual for the release purchased: it is bought per version and does not expire when a subscription ends, so a release you have paid for remains usable internally for as long as you need it. The Customer may keep controlled working copies and routine internal backups reasonably necessary for that permitted use, subject to access safeguards and the termination duties below. It does not include future releases, a right to publish raw rows, a right to build a competing or substitute dataset, or a right to provide records as part of a client deliverable. Aggregated, non-record-level findings may be shared externally only where they cannot reconstruct or substitute for the licensed data and comply with source rights.

Attribution and publication

Aggregate findings, charts, and conclusions derived from the licensed data may be published externally only when they are not supplied as a client deliverable containing or derived from Licensed Data, are attributed to the platform by name, carry no independent commercial value as a data product in their own right, and cannot be used to reconstruct record-level data. Any client deliverable containing or derived from Licensed Data, affiliate use, or contractor access requires a signed enterprise order that names the permitted recipients, authorised users, outputs and use. This restriction does not apply to work that does not use Licensed Data.

Express prohibitions

Neither paid web access nor a CSV may be resold, relicensed, redistributed, displayed as a third-party data service, supplied to an unnamed affiliate or a client, used to create or maintain a competing database/API/product, or used to train, evaluate, benchmark, ground, embed, retrieve for, or improve an AI or machine-learning system. Licensed data must not be used to determine any individual’s credit, insurance, or employment eligibility. Credentials, download links, and exported files may not be shared. Any exception requires a signed enterprise licence.

Compliance, term, and termination

The purchaser must use reasonable safeguards to prevent unauthorised access and, on reasonable request in writing, confirm compliance with the licence in writing; this is a right to ask, not a right of inspection at the purchaser’s premises. Paid web access ends when its entitlement ends. A complete-CSV licence for a delivered, unrefunded release survives the end of any subscription. A remediable material breach may terminate the affected licence only if it remains uncured after the notice and cure process in the Terms; deliberate resale, redistribution, credential sharing, access-control circumvention, unlawful use, or an urgent security or sanctions risk may be suspended immediately while it is investigated.

A confirmed full refund, a successful chargeback, or another final payment reversal terminates the licence for the affected order. After that event or other termination of the affected licence, the Customer must stop using and delete or make inaccessible all controllable raw and record-level copies. Copies in routine backup rotation may remain only until ordinary expiry and may not be restored for use; a copy required by law must be isolated and used only for that legal purpose. The operator may reasonably request written confirmation of completion. Non-record-level analysis lawfully created before termination may be retained only when it does not disclose, reconstruct, substitute for, or continue using the licensed data. Rights required by mandatory law are not limited by this licence.

Contract hierarchy

The final version of this Data License must carry the same immutable legal version accepted with the applicable Terms and order. A signed enterprise order controls only where it expressly identifies a conflicting licence term. Liability, governing law, dispute and general-contract provisions are supplied by the final Terms unless the enterprise order expressly replaces them.
